Strange names..
How are cities/towns named? Normally they are named after famous people, historic events etc. So how did this town get it's name. What could be the history behind calling your town Kickapoo?? hehehe...

The name comes from the Algonquin word Kiwegapawa "he stands about" or "he moves about.
So apparently its not what it sounds like :)
OKAAAYY so i am related to a geek!! hehehe...
but i am still allowed to giggle at the name..:))))
